Just in time for them to turn around and head back, here's a recap of Sam and Parker's drive to Texas. I sent my camera with Sam in hopes he would document their adventures and he did not disappoint!
The first stop was St. Louis where they saw the arch and went to a museum.

Still wondering how he took this picture while driving! From St. Louis they drove to Springfield, Missouri to spend the night.

That night in Springfield, they went to a minor league baseball game (in a rickshaw).

The next day they drove through Joplin and took some pictures of the tornado destruction.
Sam said this was the best road trip ever and can't wait to do it again in a few weeks!
