Big Ultrasound

I went on Friday for the big ultrasound and it is most definitely a boy! We are so so so SO excited! Now that we've seen him, it's finally starting to sink in that there is actually a real baby in there. I also have finally been feeling him move around in there. He's a night owl already! The ultrasound technicial gave us lots of pictures so I thought I'd share.

It's a Boy!

At least that's what my pee told me. I don't have my official big ultrasound until December 7th, but my mom got me an at home gender predictor test that said it was a boy! Apparently these things are like 90% accurate. So we'll find out in a week if it worked for us!

Most people who don't update their blogs very often, don't because they're so busy and don't have time. Nope. Not for me. I have had NOTHING TO SAY. There has been NOTHING going on in our lives.

However, last week we did get to go to Texas for Thanksgiving which was great. It was nice to finally be at home again. It was the first time I'd seen Drew since he's been home from his mission, and my grandparents were also there. Thanksgiving was great. We went out to dinner at Three Forks instead of cooking and then went to see Enchanted (SO good by the way).

I promise I'll create things to write about and give more baby updates!

Good News!

I know my mom already announced it to the world on her blog, but for those of you who don't read it...I'm pregnant!! Sam and I can't believe it, but are very excited! My due date is April 29th. I think the best part about all of this is that MY parents are going to be grandparents!! If you have any good old lady grandma names for my mom you can make your suggestions on her blog. My little siblings are also very excited and would now liked to be referred to as Aunt Lucy, Uncle Will, and Aunt Molly.

We will definitely keep everyone updated! Yay!!

Our Anniversary

Our anniversary was a couple weeks ago (September 3rd), so Sam and I spent the weekend in Washington DC. We headed down on Saturday for a temple trip with our youth. That night we went to dinner in Alexandria with Sam's sister Meg and his cousin Robert. Of course we had to go to Bertucci's...Sam loves it.


The rest of the weekend was full of sightseeing and seeing family. It's been a long time since I've been to DC, so it was fun to go see the monuments. Sam randomly had a lot of family in town that weekend so we visited and ate with them. We did get to have some alone time for an annivesary dinner in old town Alexandria.

We also got to see one of Sam's old roommates, Eric Carlson, who is a laywer in DC. We went to brunch with him and his fiance! We haven't seen him for two years, so it was great to visit.

It's official...

I'm 12 years old.

I had a High School Musical 2 party at my house with people whose moms had to drop them off. It was awesome.

i heart new york

Sam and I just had an awesome weekend in NYC visiting Jenny! We did tons of fun New York things. First Sam and I went to Canal Street and I bought some new perfume. We met up with Jen Jen for lunch in Little Italy. Then we went to Times Square and stood in line for half price tickets. Sam's plan: "I'll stand in line. You get me food". Genius. Then we walked to Serendipity (another genius plan by my husband), which we waited outside of for like 2 hours to get seated. It was worth it for this.

Then came the best part of the day...

It was amazing. I really can't say any more. It was so good. Anway, it was a great weekend. So glad we got to see Jenny!
